Dr. Tamás Gulyás, our co-founder and Medical Director, is a Chief Anesthesiologist and Intensive Therapy Physician. He firmly believes in personalized lifestyle solutions tailored to our genetic differences, psychological attitudes, and unique external influences. Recognizing the diversity in our metabolic processes, Dr. Gulyás embraces the wisdom that “One man’s poison is another man’s medicine,” echoing the insights of Paracelsus. Despite these differences, there are universal principles that apply to us as we belong to the same race.
“Therapeutic decisions are always preceded by the consideration of deep physiological and biochemical processes at the level of thought. I consider this to be of great importance, as it is this methodology of thinking that I have transferred and applied to alternative therapy for chronic, civilisation-wide diseases. Anaesthesia is a topic of interest to me today because many people suffer from chronic pain for which they cannot find a solution. This not only affects their own lives but also those of their families. It is often overlooked that anaesthesia is not solely concerned with the administration of anaesthetics during surgical procedures. Indeed, it also plays a pivotal role in the management of chronic pain.”

“Wellness became an integral part of my life, a passion, and a source of enjoyment. Over time, it evolved into a way of life, as the principles of wellness have become an integral part of my daily routine. A wellness lifestyle may be defined as a continuous, conscious pursuit of harmony that defines the daily life of the individual and the environment. It is a series of conscious steps that focus on health maintenance, physical, mental and spiritual harmony.”

She has also been involved in the development of a telephone lifestyle app and lectures in the framework of grant projects with the Quintess Knowledge Centre. She has been a contributor to articles in the women’s magazine for a considerable period of time. Three years ago, she published a book entitled Lifestyle Book. She creates complex healing-recovery programs for clients of the Naya Lifestyle Clinic, with personalized dietary recommendations.
“A significant number of chronic diseases could be prevented if the warning signs were identified and addressed in a timely manner. In the majority of cases, the development of more serious diseases can be prevented or at least slowed down by personalising the appropriate diet and lifestyle. Furthermore, it is my conviction that achieving and maintaining an appropriate weight over the long term—as opposed to the use of fad diets—can be assured by developing personalized healthy eating habits, combined with regular exercise and stress management.”
